"This is not a 5 star hotel. Expidea advertised AC in the rooms. They tuned it off because the season is over. When the sun beats on the window its 85 degrees. Now way to cool the room. Advertise they no AC in the off season. Would not have stayed. The beach bar is closed. So is the restaurant. We ate at Romeo and Juliet the first night. No one was there. Empty and the server looked irritated we walked in. After ordering and being served a salad, he left. Went home. Told the bar tender his wife was downstairs and walked out. Unprofessional! We never went back again. The breakfast staff was just as bad. They were speaking about how bad it was a guest took 3 egss. Who cares?! My wife is Romanian and listen to your very rude staff. There was only one gentleman who was very polite and greeted us on the last day. I didnt get his name but he should be comended. The beach staff is just as bad. First off they weren't out on the beach at 11am. Lots of people waiting for the doors to be unlocked to get cushions. And expecting a tip. Some guests paid, others didn't. And expect to walk to the gate to get down to the water. The shuttle is seasonal as well!!! They wont let you drive and park by the closed restaurant. Even when the front desk clerk said it was ok. Such a waste of time and money!!"

"Always good to stay here. Staff are very professional and friendly. Food is good. Great breakfast. Good choice for lunch and evening meal. Close to the tourist area if you want to go out for meals. I'm on business so I'm not always bothered about eating out. Beach is right in front down a lot of stairs, so maybe not good for older people. Overall great modern hotel at reasonable price. Good gym also."

"The Riva Hotel was great, lovely staff, Irenia, and the patio was enormous and well furnished. The kitchen had issues and could have used both a microwave and a few more drawers for utensils and food. Also there could have been more lamps for reading in the bedroom and another comfortable chair in the living room. My biggest issue was that there was a power outage for 8 hours and a water outage the next day for over 12 hours. Neither time did the staff attempt to tell us what was going on. I know that this probably is not a usual issue but it made our stay more difficult that it needed to be. We were never offered compensation for the two disruptions. We visited in the shoulder season and everything was closing up, but I imagine that it gets really crowded in the summer. Still, not much to do in the area, except the beach."

"Stayed for 5 nights for a beach wedding. This is a great hotel and impeccably clean. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and we both got great sleeps. The pool and spa were great and breakfast was good. Really happy and would definitely return. "

"The rooms are absolutely amazing..i could move in there..sooooo nice and modern, clean and spacious. Everything is top. Location pretty good, there is parking also. I would say the best place to stay in Constanta. "

"Parking for me was a bit of an issue, due to how busy it was and all the parking in the area is paid. The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and included breakfast was nice."
